The girls

Korshki Precious Hope
Brown spotted

We were lucky enough to find Hope at Korshki Bengals near Dumfries. Taken by this breath-takingly beautiful and loving creature with gorgeous rosetting and wild type features, we just had to have her.

Born 1 April 2008, she is nothing short of magical. Her babies here have been immaculately ornate and friendly. See Magdalena ('Lainey') and Sabina below.

Bengatage Isis

Born on the 30th of June 2008 to Whitney & Hustler, Isis was a masterpiece in the making. Her markings as a kitten held a tremendous amount of promise and we have not been let down, as her beautiful pelt-like coat seems to change and reform as each month goes by. She is inordinately friendly (like mum) and promiscuously cheeky (like dad).

Bengatage Karmina - "Carmen"
Brown spotted

IMG_2296

We have been very picky in continuing with our breeding lines but Carmen was just too good to be true - born on the 20th of April 2009 to Whitney & Harvey, she boasts the beautiful glitter of her mother and the amazing rosetting of her father, especially round the shoulders.

Although she has yet to call, we are already very excited to see what happens with her first litter in 2010.

Bengatage Magdalena - "Lainey"
Brown spotted

What a cheeky little girl! With her mum's joie de vivre and her dad's attitude, Lainey is a little dervish in the cattery.

Born of Hope & Hustler on the 9th of August 2009, she gets up to all sorts of antics that keep the older girls on their toes.

We are keen to see her babies with Harvey. Check back soon!

Q, Sabina and Theodora (detailed below), though born of three different matings, grew up together in our home alongside ten other Bengal babies, which has made for incredibly sociable, vocal, loving, cheeky girls that have taken to cattery life with relish. All stunning in their own ways, they each add a new twist to the dynamic of the community.

Bengatage Q
Brown spotted

Growing up around the three sisters has given her a pretty laid-back approach to life. In terms of markings, her spots are less densely clustered than the other three and more suggestive of rosettes.

Bengatage Sabina
Brown spotted

Sabina was born of Hope & Hustler on the 3rd of April 2010. Like her cheeky older sister Lainey, her physique is more than a little bit reminiscent of a wild cat and her rosetting is divine. As outgoing and lively as her two best friends, Q and Theodora, Sabina's special trick at the moment is stealing dust pans and brushes. We're hoping that she may one day turn her attentions to Harvey but for now we're enjoying her kittenhood I think about as much as she is!
